Crypto market cap
calculator.

What price would a token reach at your target market cap? Compare today’s supply with your own future-supply assumption, including unlocks or burns.

Enter your own figures or try the example.

Use full numbers, with a dot for decimals. Commas may separate thousands.

How to calculate crypto price from market cap

Price per token = target circulating market cap ÷ circulating supply at that time

Enter a circulating market cap and supply in full units. If you leave future supply blank, the calculator holds today’s supply constant. Add a different future supply to compare a potential unlock, mint or burn. These are assumptions you enter; no live price or supply is fetched.

A worked example: supply changes the answer

A hypothetical token has 100 million units circulating and trades at 0.10 USD. Its current circulating market cap is 10 million USD. At a target cap of 50 million USD:

  • Supply unchanged: 50 million ÷ 100 million = 0.50 USD per token.
  • Supply increases to 125 million: 50 million ÷ 125 million = 0.40 USD per token, a 300% increase from 0.10 USD.
  • Maximum supply is 200 million: FDV at 0.40 USD is 80 million USD. The circulating market-cap target remains 50 million USD.

Use “Try example” to calculate these figures. A market cap increase does not imply that the same amount of cash flowed into the token.

Market cap, FDV and token unlocks

Circulating market cap values tokens currently in circulation. Our FDV scenario multiplies the calculated price by the maximum supply you enter. A larger future circulating supply gives a lower implied price for the same market-cap target. Burns can give a higher implied price, if the other assumptions stay fixed.

A maximum supply is not a circulating-supply forecast. Check the project’s supply schedule and the market-data provider’s definitions. See CoinMarketCap’s market-cap methodology and supply definitions.

Can I use this for a low-priced or meme token?

Yes, if you have a usable circulating-supply figure. A low unit price alone says little about valuation. Compare cap, supply and liquidity rather than assuming a token can reach another coin’s price. Thin liquidity, changing supply and unreliable token data can make the scenario unrealistic. The calculator assigns no probability or date to the outcome.

Should I watch the cap or the calculated price?

Choose a cap alert if your target is a circulating valuation. Choose a price alert if your plan depends on a particular per-token price. Supply can change, so the two targets need not be met together. MyBagAlert checks fresh provider observations at intervals; it cannot guarantee catching brief moves or a particular execution price.
